On a lighter note, in case you missed it, page 38 of the fall edition of the Lehigh Bulletin included a nice article and picture of our own Bob Kaufman, athletics archivist. He spent six years organizing Lehigh’s athletic records. Files and photographs are now sorted chronologically by sport. He probably relived some of his Lehigh days when he was WLRN sports director. Thanks, Bob, for the tireless efort. Gary Anderson, my roommate and fraternity brother, and I attended the Athletics Partnership Golf Outing last fall at the Saucon Valley Country Club. We had a great time, even though our scores left plenty of room for improvement. Gary continues to work, after retiring as a partner at KPMG, providing tax and fnancial planning for folks a lot wealthier than me. He and his wife, Barbara, were frequent travelers until the pandemic. They just started up again with a “perfect” 10-day trip to Italy, just before Omicron caused more problems. Barbara became a master gardener, keeping Baltimore in great shape, after retiring as executive director of a nonproft. Gary and Barbara have three children and two grandchildren. Please send me an email, give me a call or write me a note so there is something to include in the next Bulletin. MMXXII ’69A. Raymond Schmalz, 325 Lowell Ave., Mill Valley, CA 94941-3845.
