Tim McGeary was appointed the dean of libraries at the University of Rochester in March. Prior to that, he was at Duke University since 2014. Also, in May, he and Andrea (Stewart) McGeary ’00 celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary! Their daughter, Amelia, is an undergrad at the University of Colorado Boulder, and son Tayte will be a high school senior this fall. Congratulations, Tim! Emily (Mantell) Golden lives in Cherry Hill, N.J., with her husband, two children and two labradoodles. Her daughter Maddie, 21, is a fashion design major at Marist University in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where she is channeling her creativity into her craft, while her son Max, 17, is a junior in high school and currently focused on perfecting his golf swing. Professionally, Emily is founder and CEO of Golden Resources, a leadership development and executive coaching firm. As a master certified coach, she partners with leaders and organizations to build self-awareness, strengthen emotional intelligence, and lead with greater trust and intention. She is also the author of “The New Golden Rule,” a framework that reflects her belief that how we lead others begins with how we lead ourselves. Emily remains closely connected to Lehigh and has supported Career Services for many years by coaching alumni through career transitions and growth. She has worked with Lehigh graduates over the years and continues to value the strength of the network. She also stays deeply connected to her own Lehigh roots through family (Dad, Bruce Mantell ’69, and sister, Allison Mantell Gollin ’96) and the friendships formed there. Emily makes it a priority to see her college besties (and AXO sisters) Kristine (Cozza) Shira, Jessica (Cheerman) Rogers, Sam Kane, Robin (Pomerantz) Greene and Natalie (Sacco) Pennacchia at least once a year on their annual girls’ trip, a tradition that has remained a meaningful constant over the years. British Isles. Since leaving South Mountain, Mittu has led an expansive global career spanning Singapore, India, Dubai and Europe. His professional journey includes serving as one of the founding CEOs of AirAsia India and leading Adani Logistics. Most recently, he exited a climate-tech venture in EV battery recycling and is now focusing on a sports podcast network and UK infrastructure investments. Mittu remains connected to current Lehigh students through the Lehigh Silicon Valley program and stays busy at home with his three teenage boys and his wife, who recently concluded her service as an EU diplomat. Nick Miller is also making big moves as the founder and CEO of Pellucid Network, Inc. Launched in February 2026 and based in Cary, N.C., Pellucid helps enterprises modernize AI and SaaS procurement via a streamlined “Enterprise App Store” platform. The startup was recently accepted into the KPMG-sponsored Launch Chapel Hill accelerator and is currently raising pre-seed funding. I would love to hear what’s happening in your part of the world! For me, things can’t be half bad if I’m at Yankee Stadium with my son—though my husband, Jon Berg, stayed home as our resident Phillies fan—and in May we were there again. This time, we were alongside Margie (LaNeve) Hammell and many fellow alums at the Lehigh Alumni Yankees outing. It’s always fun sharing Lehigh traditions with the next generation, which made it even more special when our previous class correspondent, Safiya Jafari Simmons, reached out and shared an update—including her daughter’s longtime dream of attending Lehigh. In October, Safiya began a new role as director of communications and partnerships at the Aspen Institute’s Weave: The Social Fabric Project, which works to repair the country’s social fabric through community building and trust brokering.
