Sami Qadah and Samantha Frangos had a destination wedding on the European island nation of Cyprus in July 2022, bringing many Lehigh alumni along for the trip! It was so great to reconnect with classmates, plus lots of friends from 2016 and 2017! We have lots of class updates from the last few months with new jobs, moves and other accomplishments. Sydney Bagley volunteered many hours to help organize and plan events for our class as well as run our class Instagram. We had people come from all over. Jose Alejandro Sierra and Matthew Bay traveled the farthest in our class to get to campus, from Scotland and San Francisco, respectively. Amanda Derby became engaged to Jeffrey Linehan on New Year’s Day. The proposal was romantic and private. They plan to get married in the fall of 2023 (with Samantha Kay and me as bridesmaids). Laura McCann got engaged in June to John DeAngelo, a Muhlenberg alumnus. He proposed at a local park where they had one of their first dates playing basketball—something they both love to do. They will be married on Aug. 26, 2023, in Gilbertsville, Pa., surrounded by family and friends. ’17Robert Hillman, robert.j.hillman1@ gmail.com Hello, Class of ’17! I have so much to share with you all and only so much space! To start, the weekend of June 10-12 was the Reunion. I am sure that many of the articles in this edition are also talking about it. Give them a read if you want to hear about what a great time it was! I attended and got to see so many Class of ’17 alumni back to celebrate fve years since graduation. But our class was not alone celebrating. We celebrated fve years alongside fellow alumni from the classes of ’15 and ’16 as well. Every cohort that attended were in similar situations, with the classes two years surrounding them, too, resulting in the largest gathering of alumni classes to attend a Lehigh Alumni Reunion weekend! I will absolutely share more fun activities of what happened at this event in future articles because there was a lot to say, but most importantly, I want to invite everyone to the next Reunion. I posted some photos from the weekend, and a few classmates reached out saying they did not know that they had missed this reunion. My goal is to make sure everyone knows about the next big reunion. (And I realize that means I am locking myself into a fve-year long promise to you all, but I want everyone to be there if you can!) Everyone deserves to come and have this kind of experience on campus in the beautiful spring weather with friends, food and fun. I got to connect with so many people, including Rachel Sholder ’16 ’17G (who writes the article above this one), fellow Marching 97 alumni and KKPsi brother Evan Choy ’20 (brand new correspondent for his class!) and incoming president of the Lehigh University Young Alumni Council Allison Starer (congrats!), as well as so many more people I want to list. More about Reunion weekend in the next edition, but we have couples to congratulate! After talking about a few weddings in my last article,
