PAGE 32 LIBRARY AND TECHNOLOGY SERVICES Presentations Lois Black, Director of Library Special Collections, presented “The Afterlife of BiblioPhilly” with Dot Porter, University of Pennsylvania, at the CLIR Digitizing Hidden Collections Symposium. The presentation described the CLIR-funded Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries (PACSCL) project to digitize over 160,000 pages of medieval manuscripts and the Lehigh students who have continued work on the collection in the years after the project ended. Tarah Cicero, Senior Instructional Technologist, was a panelist for Education, Empowerment, and Equity: The Internet’s Role in Gender Equity, where she joined others to discuss empowering women and girls through technology, the gender gap, and teach ing sensitive topics in an online space. - Tarah appeared on the Customer Panel on Combining Security Awareness and Compliance Culture Training at KnowBe4-CON 2023. Tarah also contributed to a practitioner paper and virtual poster presentation titled “Mystery of the Lehigh Gap: Summary of the Visual Aspects Designed and Developed for the Dialogue System for Desktop VR Game” at the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN) 2023 Conference. Erica Gluszynski, Assistant Director of Enterprise Systems, and Kurt Weber, Director of Enterprise Systems, presented at the Pennsylvania Banner Users Group Conference on the Banner to the Cloud project. Dan Huang, Resource Acquisitions Manager, and Maccabee Levine, Senior Library Application Developer, presented “Expanding Patron-Driven Acquisition Beyond the Website Form” at the Charleston Conference 2022. Maccabee presented on similar topics at Code4Lib 2023, FOLIO Mid-Atlantic Users Group 2022, and on a panel at WOLFcon 2022. Alex Japha, Digital Archives and Special Collections Librarian, delivered a presentation titled “Challenges in Selecting a Digital Repository Platform” at the Spring 2023 Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference. Lisa McColl, Metadata Services Manager for Lehigh Libraries, presented, “A DEI Cataloging Audit of a Bibliography” for the ALA Core Cataloging and Classification Research Interest Group in March 2023. Jim Monek, Director of Technology Infrastructure & Operations, co-chaired the EDUCAUSE Cloud Computing Community Group and co-chaired developing the Internet2 Technology Exchange Conference 2023 Cloud Track. Jim also participated in the Internet2 Cloud Forum 2023 Conference steering committee.
