3 4 Merit-Based Scholarships Applicants for merit-based scholarships must receive an offer of admission to the 1-MBA Program in order to be considered for an award. Awards are determined based on a combination of merit and need. The Committee on Financial Aid will consider an applicant’s work experience, undergraduate record, and test scores when determining a student’s potential for scholarship awards. Scholarship options include: • Dean’s Scholarship – Full-tuition scholarship plus a $10,000 stipend • Director’s Scholarship – $5,000 to full-tuition scholarship • Asa Packer Entrepreneurship Award (APSEA) – Full-tuition scholarship plus an $18,000 stipend • Lehigh University Alumni Scholarship – 50% tuition discount for all accepted alumni • United Nations Scholarships – Full-tuition scholarships to select UN staff members • U.S. Military Scholarship – Current military or veteran members of the United States Armed Forces • Yellow Ribbon Program • Global Village Scholarship • Prospanica Full-Tuition & Partial-Tuition Scholarships – Lehigh University is part of the Prospanica University Partnership Program (UPP) to help qualified Hispanic students achieve their MBA goals. • National Black MBA (NBMBAA) – Lehigh University is part of the Diamond Tier Partners with NBMBAA. This scholarship is open to active members of NBMBAA.
