The university has provided me with ample opportunities to explore research, take leadership positions, and establish a good network of peers that I can depend on. All of these help my goals thrive. Lehigh is the perfect place to achieve both my long-term and short-term goals with the proper support. My younger sister inspires me to excel at Lehigh. Being the first in my family to attend college means a lot to me, and it also puts a lot of pressure on me to exceed as well. My younger sister constantly encourages me to excel. Seeing her involved in her community at home shows me that she has the drive to build a future for herself in higher education. I want to paint the best path for her to follow when her time comes. Giving back means being able to help those in your community in the ways that they need. Giving back impacts people most when someone is able to provide them with resources they need but once saw as unattainable. It becomes mean- ingful when someone pays attention to what a community needs and steps up when they see they can benefit their community. This scholarship has allowed me to make life-changing experiences and memories. This support relieves a tremendous amount of stress from my family and me, and we are able to work on our financial stability a bit more. The removal of that financial burden has allowed me to participate in programs such as LeaderShape, a leadership camp hosted by the Community Service Office, and to take a study abroad trip to Canada. I am able to take part in things that did not seem feasible without the financial help you have provided. I would like to thank you for this generosity, as my Lehigh expe- rience would not be the same without your help. I am undoubtedly grateful. Thank you so much!
