Bess Rowen reports that she “recently edited a student critical edition of Tennessee Williams’ “A Streetcar Named Desire” for Methuen Drama and is beginning work on a second book project about the ways we represent teenage girls on stage. She continues her work on trans and nonbinary representation on stage, which is more important than ever in the current political moment.” Dylan Coonrad is reprising his role in “The Shape of Things,” 13 years after the original Lehigh University production, at the Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack, N.Y. Below is what some of our classmates have been up to! Lots of recent baby news! Cody Morris and wife, Naomi, welcomed their first daughter, Beth Ierace Morris, in November 2022. Morgan (Molnar) Lehmann and Alex Lehmann had a baby girl, Josie, in January 2023. She’s apparently off the charts on height, just like her parents! Felicity Zoey Teskeredzic was born in December 2022 to Amanda Howland and Dino Teskeredzic; she joins big sisters Claire and Gemma. Amanda is currently working as a board-certified dermatologist in Dartmouth, Mass. Kathryn (Murphy) Anderson and Charlie Anderson welcomed their second child, Hazel Mackenzie Anderson, in December 2022. Joseph M. Sala and Kathryn Burch ’09 welcomed their daughter, Elliott Rose, in September 2022. My good buddy Steve Bialick welcomed a baby girl in December 2022. Steve graduated from his hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Miami in June and will be a sarcoma and gastrointestinal medical oncologist at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center/University of Miami. Anne (Whitebread) Prousi and Anthony Prousi ’07 welcomed a daughter, June Christine, in October 2022. Tracy Sartorius and husband Dan Orbach welcomed their first child, Olivia Joy Orbach, born Christmas Day 2022. Will Scudder ’11 and Megan (Stoner) Scudder welcomed a baby girl, Brooke Elizabeth, in November 2022, named after Megan’s former Lehigh roommate Brooke Wiener. In some older wedding news, Kevin Ford married Katie Graul ’09 in 2018, and in May 2022, Kevin earned a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from UMD College Park. In professional news, Ashley (Ruby) Rose was recently promoted to the position of area medical director for CareNow of northern Virginia. Komal Patel recently moved to Tampa, Fla., and started a new job at the veterans affairs hospital. Tazeen Ali published her first book with NYU Press in the fall of 2022 titled “The Women’s Mosque of America, Authority and Community in U.S. Islam.” Charles Choice recently moved to Los Angeles and launched a private foundation with Rob Dyrdek. The foundation supports underrepresented entrepreneurs by giving them access to non-dilutive capital and resources at the ideation stage to help them pursue their dreams. In January 2022, he started with Air Products and Chemicals as a commercial technology sales engineer. Alex Ziets and Katherine Poulillo ’10 welcomed daughter Cameron Denise Ziets on Aug. 24, 2022. She joins brother Evan who is nearly 3 years old. Emily Rojer Hurley and Drew Hurley are proud to welcome their second son, Owen R. Hurley. Big brother Lewis is excited to have a new playmate! Additionally, Emily started a new job as a communications and grants manager at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. Athena (Sinha) Brotman and her husband, Ian, welcomed their second baby boy in November 2022. Ariana (McAvoy) Perrino welcomed baby Derek James in October 2022. Alex Huttle welcomed baby Natalie Sam in September 2022. Leah Kramkowski welcomed baby Isabel Rose in December 2022. Brian Carroll has been promoted to partner at McCarter & English LLP in the firm’s Newark office. The Alumni Office received the following press release announcing his promotion: “Brian is an experienced commercial litigator whose practice is focused on complex contractual disputes and actions involving antitrust, civil RICO and trade secret misappropriation claims in the federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey. Brian also regularly counsels clients in the professional sports and sports-betting industries on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters.” A couple of you sent some hilarious responses to our Instagram accounts that we thought you would get a laugh out of and relate to. One person said, “Life update: gray hair and crippling anxiety lol.” Another said, “Update: bought a cold brew machine. Lauren has nearly finished her Ph.D. in epidemiology, and Eric finished his master’s in public administration!
