Mr. Tarrant practiced as a detail designer in architecture and civil engineering and as a commercial fre and casualty insurance loss control engineer. WilliamE. Toikka ’62, Raritan Township, N.J., Jan. 11, 2022. A Pi Kappa Alpha brother and member of the Tau Beta Pi honor society, Mr. Toikka worked as a product developer at Compuware. He was amember of the Tower Society. Robert J. Albers ’63, Boerne, Texas, Feb. 26, 2022. Mr. Albers was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals out of high school but chose to play at Lehigh instead. He also sang in the Glee Club and was a brother of Phi Sigma Kappa. He worked as a C-suite executive for many companies. Robert D. Gredys ’63, Marietta, Ga., March 10, 2022. A Sigma Phi brother, Mr. Gredys worked for BethlehemSteel Corporation for 25 years before starting a small manufacturing business. He served on the LUAA Board of Directors and won the Alumni Award in 1978. His daughter, Carolyn (Gredys) Hughes, is amember of the Class of 1994. Tadeus L. Jakubowski ’64, Asheville, N.C., April 3, 2022. Mr. Jakubowski served in the U.S. Air Force, including as the ROTC instructor at Lehigh. He retired from the Air Force as a full colonel, after 27 years of active duty. He then spent 15 years teaching industrial engineering at Southern Illinois University. J. Linden Sanders Jr. ’64, Mechanicsburg, Pa., April 1, 2022. An Alpha Tau Omega brother, Mr. Sanders spent his career with DuPont. His daughter, Deborah Sanders, is a member of the Class of 1990. JamesW. Selgas ’64M.A. ’66 Ph.D. ’70, Harrisburg, Pa., April 7, 2022. Dr. Selgas was a member of the lacrosse and soccer teams and a Phi Sigma Kappa brother. He practiced counseling psychology and taught at the Harrisburg Area Community College. He was also amember of the Tower Society. Raymond Kasperowicz ’65, Cohasset, Mass., Aug. 19, 2021. Mr. Kasperowicz was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was involved in local government and ran for Congress. He owned a CPA practice. George F. Nechwort Jr. ’65, Waterville, N.Y., Jan. 18, 2022. Mr. Nechwort served in the U.S. Army during the VietnamWar. Seth L. Warfeld ’65M.S. ’66, Easton, Md., April 16, 2022. Mr. Warfeld was a brother of Delta Phi. He worked in the family roofng businesses, both on the installation and supply sides (The Roof Center). He was president of both for many years. RichardW. Bittrick ’66, Shrewsbury, Pa., Jan. 19, 2022. Dr. Bittrick was a Delta Sigma Phi brother andmember of Tau Beta Pi honor society. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had a privatemedical practice for 20 years, after which he took a position doctoring youth in the Maryland State Department of Juvenile Services. Joseph C. Mixsell Jr. ’67 Ph.D. ’73, Anchorage, Ala., March 29, 2022. Dr. Mixsell was a member of the football and lacrosse teams, the Gryphon Society and Tau Beta Pi honor society. He taught electrical engineering at University of Alaska Anchorage. His daughter, SarahMixsell, is a member of the Class of 2024. JohnW. Nordenson ’67, Milford, Mass., March 12, 2022. A Delta Phi brother, Mr. Nordenson served the U.S. Army during the VietnamWar. He made his career as an insurance underwriter, retiring from Liberty Mutual. Brian K. Balliet ’68, Goodyear, Ariz., Dec. 18, 2021. Mr. Balliet was amember of the football teamand a brother of Theta Delta Chi. He was a youth sports coach and worked as an umpire for theMid-American Conference, Big 10 and the NFL. Arthur F. Krummenoehl Jr. ’68, Highland, Md., Feb. 14, 2022. Mr. Krummenoehl was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He made his 40-year career with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, developing software to automate tracking of radar returns and working on themissile defense system. Robert A. Davidson ’69, Plymouth, Mass., Jan. 29, 2022. Mr. Davidson owned and ran a private consulting company, Professional Data Services, where he designed product distribution systems for multiple businesses, including Ocean Spray. Ellsworth C. Machin III ’69, Bethlehem, Pa., Jan. 1, 2022. Mr. Machin worked with children in the community before taking a role as a clerk for Lafayette Ambassador Bank for many years. 1970s G. Edward Carney Jr. ’70, Indian Trail, N.C., Aug. 13, 2021. Mr. Carney was a Chi Psi brother and amember of the track and feld team. He served in the U.S. National Guard and worked for Arthur Anderson and U.S. Shoe, before opening North Cove Outftters, a highly successful and award-winning outdoor and apparel retail store. David H. Dickstein ’71, Clarks Summit, Pa., Jan. 15, 2022. Mr. Dickstein was president of Sigma Alpha Mu. He spent his 50-year career with Jacobson Hat Company and eventually became a partner and owner, leading manufacturing and importing. His son, Eric Dickstein, is a member of the Class of 2002. Thomas P. Gallagher ’71, Pennington, N.J., Feb. 10, 2022. Mr. Gallagher spent his nearly 50-year career with the State of New Jersey, most recently as the CFO of the Department of Banking and Insurance. His daughter, Maureen Gallagher, is a member of the Class of 2009. Francis X. Goyanes III ’72, BethlehemTownship, Pa., April 15, 2022. Mr. Goyanes was a Theta Xi brother and player with the Mustard & Cheese. He began working for Bethlehem Steel Corporation, fnishing his career at Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation as director of international sales and product manager for forged rolls. Peter A. Helt ’72, Allentown, Pa., Dec. 15, 2021. Mr. Helt was a member of the wrestling team and the Mustard & Cheese. He worked as a pastor for the Metropolitan Community Church of the Lehigh Valley. Bruce K. Fenstermacher ’72, Bethlehem, Pa., Feb. 7, 2022. Mr. Fenstermacher worked for Mack Trucks and as a self-employed truck driver. Kenneth S. Goldworm ’75, Jacksonville, Fla., Jan. 5, 2022. Mr. Goldworm established his own frm and practiced law in Rhode Island for almost 20 years. Paul A. Crawford ’77, Shaler Township, Pa., Jan. 1, 2022. Mr. Crawford was a Theta Xi brother. Francis A.
