Eldisa Rosario ʼ26 cherishes a gift she received from Howard D. Polsky ʼ73 through the political science department: an extended edition of the U.S. Constitution with a note congratulating her on her graduation. The gift will serve Rosario well as she sets out to achieve her future goals, which include attending law school. With two parents who are track and field coaches, Tyson Utesch ʼ26 finds meaning in his vaulting pole. Heʼs been pole vaulting since he was a child, and at Lehigh, it led to what he considers his proudest athletic achievement: scoring at the conference meet during his first year. James Shanley ʼ26 and his senior design project partner spent the past year creating a battery-powered guitar amp from scratch. The project, which combined Shanleyʼs interests in guitar and electrical engineering, was a first-place winner in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineeringʼs Undergraduate Paper Contest and the 2026 IEEE Walter B. Morton Student Paper Contest.
