96 EMMA B. BANKER graduated with high honors from Lehigh University in 2021 with a B.S. in the Integrated Degree in Engineering, Arts, and Sciences honors program with concentrations in electrical engineering and cognitive science and a minor in aerospace engineering. While at Lehigh, Emma was electronics team lead for the Formula SAE team, president of Eta Kappa Nu, vice president of women’s club basketball, a resident assistant, and an electrical engineering tutor. She received the 611 Challenge Award in recognition of strong leadership, service to others, and commitment to academics. During her summers, she interned at Sikorsky Aircraft, analyzing data and creating manufacturing plans for helicopters. She currently is working as a test and integration engineer on the Dragon capsule at SpaceX. JACK M. HELLER graduated from Lehigh University in May 2021 with a B.S. in industrial and systems engineering with a concentration in information systems and a minor in data science. While at Lehigh, Jack was a P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Sciences Junior Fellow. He also conducted research on machine learning to evaluate bridge health and sensor anomaly detection at nuclear power plants. He had the opportunity to intern at Pratt & Whitney, working in manufacturing excellence, as well as at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In his free time, Jack enjoys flying planes. Jack currently is studying for his M.S. in statistics and data science in Belgium. NOAH F. JALANGO graduated with high honors from Lehigh University in May 2021 with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in entrepreneurship. During his time at Lehigh, Noah was involved in music groups, including the Marching 97 and East Fifth Records. Noah also held multiple roles throughout his time writing for The Brown and White, Lehigh’s student-run newspaper. As sports editor, he helped the sports section increase its online presence, and, as a managing editor, he and other top editors helped navigate The Brown and White through the coronavirus pandemic. Noah currently is living in Springfield, New Jersey, pursuing some of his creative endeavors. MARIA M. LANCIA graduated with high honors from Lehigh University in 2021 with a B.S. in bioengineering on the pharmaceutical track. While at Lehigh, Maria was a part of the Global Social Impact Fellowship. She led the development of a lateral flow device to diagnose sickle cell disease in low- and middle-income countries. In 2019 she traveled to Sierra Leone to lay the groundwork for implementing the device. Maria also was elected to be a Global Entrepreneurial Fellow. She worked for the social enterprise Naireeta Services–Bhungroo, in Ahmedabad, India. Maria was a member of the Marching 97 and played the alto saxophone. Currently, she is working as a technical services/ manufacturing science engineer at Eli Lilly. JENNY LIN graduated with highest honors from Lehigh University in 2021 with a B.S. in accounting and business information systems and minors in political science and Chinese. While at Lehigh, Jenny was president of Beta Alpha Psi, vice president of programming of Beta Gamma Sigma, and vice president of F1RST and served on the College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council for four years. She was selected as the Poets & Quants Best & Brightest business student and received the Harold S. Geneen and Service Above Self awards and the Nelson Leighton Bond Memorial Prize. Jenny interned at Shanghai Tower while studying abroad and at KPMG in New York City, where she now works as a financial services audit associate. LINA ARBAIN OUMERA graduated with high honors from Lehigh University in 2021 with a B.A. in psychology and in health, medicine, and society and a minor in French. She was raised in Tangier, Morocco, and moved to the United States to continue her education. While at Lehigh, Lina was an international orientation leader, an eco-rep, a member of the international Honors Society in Psychology, and a research assistant for the Kids Project. During her summers, she volunteered in public hospitals in Morocco and in Shanghai University in China. Lina currently is studying for her M.P.H. at the University of Pennsylvania. CONTRIBUTORS
