While at Lehigh, she joined a research lab under Professor Yahong Rosa Zheng, where she studied underwater signal communication. She went on to place third at the David and Lorraine Freed Undergraduate Research Symposium, eventually publishing a paper entitled, “Coherent Phase Shift Keying (PSK) Modulation Using Low-Power Micro-controllers for Underwater Acou-stic Communications.” Alexis now works as an R&D firmware engineer at Keysight Technologies in California.
