Laura committed to community building at Lehigh as a head gryphon (resident assistant), cofounder and president of the Lehigh Medical Club, and student leader of the sickle cell diagnostics team. She also pursued global leadership as a public health intern in Kenya, a Global Social Impact Fellow in Sierra Leone, and a study abroad student in Costa Rica. Laura is now enrolled at Duke University, pursuing a master of biomedical sciences, with plans to apply to medical school.
