WILLIAM YAEGER graduated with honors from Lehigh University in May 2024 with a B.S. in the Integrated Degree in Engineering, Arts and Sciences honors program, concentrating in molecular biology and biocomputational engineering. At Lehigh, Will developed lowtech mushroom farming methods as a Global Social Impact Fellow and studied yeast evolution in Gregory Lang’s laboratory. He founded the bioblitz and quiz bowl clubs, led outing club trips, and discovered an undescribed mushroom species. Will is currently researching cacao diseases in Peru under a Fulbright grant and will attend the University of Chicago next year to pursue a Ph.D. in evolutionary genetics.
