PROGRAM STRUCTURE The MS in Financial Engineering (MFE) program takes full advantage of the colleges of Mathematics, Engineering and Finance by immersing students within each campus amongst a plethora of other types of students. Engineering courses make use of optimization methods and techniques, while the Finance courses primarily focus on Bonds, MBS, Futures, Hedging, and Risk and Mathematics courses provide the momentum to propel students in the quantum approach. In addition, the MFE program layers a deep level of practical experience for students providing access to a varied landscape of projects, corporate sponsors, internship programs, and MFE alumni. CORPORATE PROJECTS The MFE program is embedded amongst several sponsoring companies in various fields of interests (Asset Management, Data Analytics, Blockchain, Alternative Trading Signals …) via academic and real-life projects. All the projects benefit from the insights of corporate executives. Students meet periodically with those sponsors and amongst themselves as a team. Students can include those projects in their two-semester capstone projects, while still being able to work on those projects beyond the capstone.
