The MS in Business Analytics Program (MSBA) is a 1-Year, STEM Certified Program designed to prepare students with cutting-edge knowledge and skill sets that will enable them to be competitive in the rapidly growing field of business analytics. The curriculum features four components that ensure students understand theory in depth and develop practical skill sets: MSBA Fundamental Disciplinary Knowledge: Students learn the fundamentals of business and economics so that they understand business data and problem solving. Technical Skills: Using programs such as SQL, R, Python, and Tableau, students will become well versed in collecting, preparing, modeling, and interpreting business data. Professional Skills: At the core of all Lehigh Business graduate programs, students are challenged to develop their soft skills and professional networks. Students will gain valuable leadership, teamwork and communication skills ensuring they are prepared for the job market. Capstone Project: The MSBA program journey is completed with a capstone project that gives students real-world experience in applying what they learn in the classroom. OVERVIEW

For example, the Center for Supply Chain Research and the newly established Center for Digital Marketing Strategy and Analytics both capitalize on connecting research with practice in key business operational areas, including supply chain and marketing analytics. These Centers have established strategic partnerships with a select group of industry leading companies. These relationships, among others, provide added value opportunities and practical insights, including real world learning experiences for our MS in Business Analytics students. PROGRAM FLEXIBILITY Concentrations The MS in Business Analytics program offers a variety of concentration areas. A concentration does not need to be declared at the time of application. Students can earn an MSBA degree without an area of concentration, which allow them to take elective coursework from a wide range of topics. Concentration areas: • Data Science • Financial Engineering Analytics • Marketing Analytics • Supply Chain Analytics Dual Degrees Here at Lehigh, our faculty recognizes that to gain a competitive edge in today’s business world is through developed expertise in more than one discipline. Lehigh has dual degree program offerings that partner with other top-ranked Lehigh programs. The dual degree features streamlined admission processes, merit-based tuition awards, and easy credit transfers. Students finish with dual degrees in just 2 years. Dual Degree offerings: • MS in Business Analytics with MS in Applied Economics • MS in Business Analytics with MS in Management STEM Designated Optional Practical Training lets eligible F-1 students work in their field of study in the United States for up to 12 months after completion. F-1 students with a degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) may be eligible for a 24 month extension of their 12 month OPT.

Awards are determined based on a combination of merit and need. The Committee on Financial Aid will consider an applicant’s work experience, undergraduate record, and test scores when determining a student’s potential for scholarship awards. Scholarship options include: • Dean’s Scholarship – Full-tuition scholarship. • Director’s Scholarship – $5,000 to full-tuition scholarship • Lehigh University Graduate Scholarship – 20% merit-based tuition award for all seniors and alumni • Yellow Ribbon Program SCHOLARSHIPS
