Mr. Inscho was a teacher and ranger naturalist and served as a football ofcial for over 50 years. W. Estill Wilson M.S. ’58, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 16, 2021. Dr. Wilson was a professor at Vanderbilt and UT-Nashville. For over 30 years, he was afliated with Nashville State, where he helped establish programs in architecture, building construction and civil engineering. Joanna T. Sullivan M.A. ’59 Ed.D. ’70, Montclair, N.J., July 28, 2022. Dr. Sullivan taught at Penn State University and published a children’s book, along with many articles. Janet A. Delaney M.A. ’61, Pittston, Pa., May 3, 2022. Ms. Delaney served as a guidance counselor in the Abington Heights School District for 35 years. Stephen F. Ramseyer M.S. ’63, Clifton Park, N.J., Aug. 11, 2022. Dr. Ramseyer was an engineer at the Knolls Atomic Power Labs. Virginia (Goering) Hale M.Ed. ’64, Norristown, Pa., June 24, 2022. Ms. Hale taught elementary school before founding her own tutoring business, A+ Educational Advantage. Louis M. Molnar M.Ed. ’64, Upper Saucon Township, Pa., May 19, 2022. A veteran of the U.S. Army during the KoreanWar, Mr. Molnar made his career teaching in the Lehigh Valley. As an assistant principal, he helped open FreedomHigh School. He then went to the BethlehemArea School District ofce as director of pupil personnel services, where he served for many years. He was also a football, track and golf coach. His son, Michael Molnar, is a member of the Class of 1985. Frederick A. Reinhart M.Ed. ’64, Bangor, Pa., Aug. 9, 2022. Mr. Reinhart worked as a sherif’s ofcer for Northampton County. Carol E. (Williams) Hafner M.Ed. ’65, Bethlehem, Pa., Aug. 6, 2022. Ms. Hafner taught music in the Lower Saucon and BethlehemArea school districts for over 30 years. Robert Kormanik M.S. ’66, Richland, Pa., June 29, 2022. Mr. Kormanik served in the U.S. Army during the VietnamWar. He was a professor of surveying at Penn State before joining the State System for Higher Education in construction and expansion projects. Donald L. Emery M.S. ’68, Easton, Pa., May 30, 2022. Mr. Emery was founder and president of Emery Distributors, Inc. Carol A. Haswell M.Ed. ’68, Hazleton, Pa., July 10, 2022. Ms. Haswell taught in the Hazleton Area School District for 35 years, primarily at A.D. Thomas Elementary as a reading specialist. Asit K. Ray M.S. ’68, Memphis, Tenn., April 24, 2022. Dr. Ray worked for NASA before transitioning into academia. He spent over 30 years as a professor of chemical engineering at Christian Brothers University. Robert P. Yori MBA ’68, Bloomsburg, Pa., July 16, 2022. Dr. Yori taught at Bloomsburg and Scranton universities. Dennis Bonser M.A. ’69, Strasburg, Pa., Aug. 10, 2022. Dr. Bonser taught English literature at Kutztown University. He was also an accomplished basketball player at Kutztown as an undergraduate, holding several school records. Larry L. Mengel M.S. ’70, Wake Forest, N.C., April 24, 2022. Mr. Mengel served in the U.S. Army for 30 years, where he ran simulations for the M1 tank and Apache helicopter. He then worked as a contractor liaison between industry and the military for Alion Science and Technology. James A. Phillips M.S. ’70, Winston-Salem, N.C., April 27, 2022. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Phillips’s career in electrical engineering included work on the Mercury space program and the Apollo program. He retired fromAT&T. Robert A. Wessner MBA ’70, Emmaus, Pa., July 21, 2022. During his long career in fnance, Mr. Wessner worked for several institutions, including Air Products, Lafayette College, Jewelcor and Hess’s. Gerald S. Chupik M.S. ’71, Pinehurst, N.C., June 30, 2022. Mr. Chupik was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and spent his 30-plusyear career with AT&T, working on early computers. Robert E. Leggett M.A. ’71 Ph.D. ’75, Vienna, Va., July 17, 2022. Dr. Leggett was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He taught and coached basketball at Lehigh while pursuing his Ph.D. He worked as an analyst and senior executive at the Central Intelligence Agency. His brother, Kenneth Leggett, was a member of the Class of 1954. Shapour N. Samii Ph.D. ’71, Bethlehem, Pa., July 9, 2022. Dr. Samii spent 30 years as a professor of economics at Moravian University. Walter D. Rausch M.Ed. ’72, West Rockhill Township, Pa., Aug. 11, 2022. Mr. Rausch taught German at William Tennent High School in the Centennial School District for over 30 years. Evan C. Christman M.Eng. ’73, Macungie, Pa., July 1, 2022. Mr. Christman worked for Western Electric, Honeywell and SI Handling, for whom he oversaw the mechanization of various businesses, including the U.S. Postal Service. He founded a handyman business before retiring. John K. Clause M.A. ’73, BethlehemTownship, Pa., July 11, 2022. Mr. Clause taught in the BethlehemArea School District and owned Rainbow Antiques. Ronald J. Kologe MBA ’74, Gilbert, Pa., May 15, 2022. Mr. Kologe was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked at Patterson-Kelley as CFO. Stephen Sivulich Ed.D. ’75, Pittsburgh, Pa., April 24, 2022. A veteran of the U.S. Army in Korea and the Philippines, Dr. Sivulich served in administrative positions at Chatham College, La Roche College, Kent State University, William Patterson College of New Jersey, Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales and University of Pittsburgh. Daniel R. Partin M.Ed. ’77, Harrisburg, Pa., Aug. 17, 2022. Mr. Partin was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He spent over 40 years teaching English, reading and gifted education. Joel L. Caves Ph.D. ’80, Wyomissing, Pa., May 11, 2022. Dr. Caves was a veteran of the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps. He owned his own hydraulic engineering frm. Helene M. Whitaker MPA ’81, Bethlehem, Pa., June 22, 2022. Ms. Whitaker had 31 years of experience in government relations at Northampton Community College, where her responsibilities also included human resources, labor relations, institutional research and planning. Most recently, she worked for J.M. Uliana & Associates, working with clients on appropriations, economic development and education issues. Charlotte D. Cubbler M.S. ’85, Lititz, Pa., May 23, 2022. Ms. Cubbler was an educator in the Central Bucks, Pottsgrove and Boyertown school districts.
