P - AGE 33 - - - - ANNUAL REPORT 2023–2024 6 Our Staff Awards David Bernini, Senior Project Specialist, received the Tradition of Excellence award for his contribu tions to several data structure projects in the Office of Human Resources. David helped to streamline two payroll frequency schedules for non-exempt staff into one. He also aided in the EPAF project which automated the import of PageUp for new and re-hired staff into Banner. Tarah Cicero, Senior Instructional Technologist, received the Tradition of Excellence award for her contribution to the instructional and presentation design in developing the learning experience for Lehigh’s Staff Development Day 2024. “Research Data Literacy: Empowering Excellence Through DataInformed Decision Making,” focused on enhancing workforce capacity for data-informed decision-making by training employees in data access, interpretation, and communication. Key insights included under standing data sources and quality, utilizing the Lehigh toolkit, and developing data analytics skills and tools. Erica Gluszynski, Assistant Director of Enterprise Systems, received the Tradition of Excellence award for her contribution on a Future Maker’s grant, “Empowering Excellence: A presentation on data-in formed decision-making for Lehigh staff,” which focuses on upskilling employees through data literacy and analytics training for research administration. Tim Palumbo, Senior Endpoint Engineer, was awarded honorable mention (2nd place) for Flexera Technology Intelligence Awards for Innovation of the Year. Tim submitted his team’s approach to Endpoint Patch Management for consideration and was judged to have “an innovative use of the Flexera One solu tion, demonstrating emerging business use cases powered by data.” Shelby Schwoyer, Resource Sharing Coordinator, received the Louis J. Gill Library Award from Kutztown University and the Academic Leadership Award from the Pennsylvania School Library Association. Jasmine Woodson, Assistant University Librarian for Instruction and Outreach & Education Librarian, won the Louis & Helen Zirkel Library Staff Award, established to recognize an outstanding perfor mance or service delivered by a staff member of the University Libraries.
