PAGE 29 ANNUAL REPORT 2022–2023 - - - - ► Lehigh continued to lead and participate in Eastern Academic Scholars' Trust (EAST). Together with more than 100 libraries and consortia, this shared print program helps research libraries to fulfill their mission to preserve the print scholarly record in an era of changing usage. Together with Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC), EAST was the recipient of an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) grant for a project titled, Community Strategies to Expand Diversity and Inclusivity in the Collective Collection of Shared Print. Outcomes include development of national best practices for shared print programs related to expanding inclusion of minority serving institutions and a research framework to evaluate the diversity of collective and prospective collec tions of retained materials. ► Special Collections collaborated with the Center for Gender Equity on 5x10 sessions and an exhibit commemorating the 50th anniversary of coeduca tion at Lehigh, in Linderman Library and online. ► Collected all born-digital material produced by the Institute on Critical Race and Ethnic Studies for addition to the Lehigh University Archives. ► In April 2022 LTS was selected to receive the Pride Center's 2022 Outstanding Initiative Award for our role in bringing the Eastern PA Trans Equity Project's Trans Stories Project to campus in Fairchild-Martindale Library. ► Hosted Out on Campus: A History of LGBTQ+ Activism in March at Linderman Library. The event was co-sponsored by The Pride Center for Sexual Orientation & Gender Diversity, Lehigh Libraries Special Collections, and the department of Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. ► Lehigh Libraries continued technical support for the long-term interdisciplinary Gloria Naylor Archive project (Suzanne Edwards) by consulting on metadata creation and enhancement for exist ing and newly digitized materials. ► Provided consultation services for the Lehigh Valley LGBT+ Community Archive project (Mary Foltz), primarily for WordPress components of the project. ► LTS Director of Administrative Services, Jesse Pearson, participated in a Town Hall panel discussion with ADVANCE co-directors Joan Ramage Macdonald and Marci Levine, and Henry Odi, Deputy VP for Equity and Community and Associate Provost for Academic Diversity.
