The summer has brought so much great news; let’s jump right in: I was honored and thrilled to share in the experience of the wedding for Wendy Conklin and Corydon Zouzias. The two were married on Earth Day at the Baltimore Science Center, surrounded by family and many members of the Lehigh Choir and Marching 97 from the Classes of 1970, 1995, 1997, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022! Professor David Diggs, former director of bands, was even in attendance, and the wedding was officiated by David Thaler ’70 ’71G ’78G. The couple camped in the Grand Canyon for their honeymoon and are now home in Rockville, Md., where Wendy is a senior associate consultant, engineering at ERM, and Corydon is an electrical engineer at Lutron. As a current law school student, I am excited to share that two classmates have recently graduated from law school and taken the bar! Olivia Nevola graduated from the Cardozo School of Law and will be starting as a court attorney for the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division-Second Department. At Lehigh, she was a political science and economics major and was involved in the Debate Society, tour guide program and Greek life. While she fondly remembers spending time with friends on the front lawn or those great breakfast meals at Alexandra’s, Olivia is off to do great things as one of New York’s newest attorneys. Similarly, Aaron Adams graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and is moving to New York City to work as an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, LLP. While at Lehigh, Aaron was a political science student and president of the Political Science Honor Society. He also was a Martindale Student Associate, where he traveled to South Africa during the program. I wish the best of luck to Aaron as he awaits those bar exam results and embarks on his journey into the New York law scene! As the weather gets colder and football season is back in full swing, I hope to see many of you either at Lehigh for the rivalry game or at the telecast in NYC. For those of you in the midst of the fall academic session, best of luck on finals, and happy holidays to each and every one of you! I hope everyone has had a fun summer. This time around, I have some personal news to share. I am moving and starting a new job this fall! For the past year, I have been working at the Houston Chronicle as part of a rotational journalism fellowship with Hearst Newspapers, and as I enter my second year of the fellowship, I will be moving to the San Francisco Chronicle. At the Houston Chronicle, I was a writer and reporter largely working on breaking news and trending stories. As I begin my role in San Francisco, I will be writing for the climate coverage team. Living in Texas the past year was very new for me and pleasantly surprising. I didn’t know anyone when arriving in Houston. I only had the phone number of a friend-of-a-friend from Lehigh, and we ended up hanging out all the time. So, I was extra thankful for my college connections in Houston. I am excited to start in San Francisco soon, especially since I grew up in the Bay Area and will be close to family again. As always, do not hesitate to reach out with any Class of 2022 news you would like to share. Since I know many of Lehigh’s alums wound up near San Francisco, I look forward to bugging my peers in person for their life updates. You can reach out to me at clf222@ alum.lehigh.edu. ’23 Connor Melko, connormelko1@ gmail.com Hello, readers. As my classmates and I are now minted Lehigh graduates, we are embarking on a new professional journey. With the recently constructed Lehigh business building officially opened for classes on campus, I have some career news to share from graduates. Alex Snyder is a marketing and management graduate and started his full-time role as a business development associate for Computacenter, a leading independent technology and services provider. He also has been helping out over the summer as a digital marketer for Dynasty 11 Studios and app startup Player2. Scott Vollmer earned his bachelor’s in finance and recently moved into the West Village in NYC and started his career as an investment banking analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. covering health care M&A transactions. Kayla Miller is joining Scott in NYC as she is starting orientation at Goldman Sachs as an analyst. She attributes Lehigh as a transformative experience and said it has been amazing to learn how she can transition her skills onto a new journey. The firm has a lot to offer, and it’s exciting for her to have the opportunity to grow within the industry. Congratulations to all graduates! ’24 Samantha Gropper, shg224@ lehigh.edu Hi, Lehigh community! It’s hard to believe that the members of the Class of 2024 are now seniors. I’ve taken a moment to
