Dick is survived by his wife and one son, three daughters and six stepdaughters. I saw him last at our 70th reunion. This spring, I’ve had two five-day stays at Paoli (Pa.) Hospital, due to aspiration pneumonia. After discharge the second time, I was sent to Dunwoody Village Care Center, where I stayed for another two weeks and two days so that I could regain my strength and be discharged to Dunwoody’s Indecent Living. I am planning to leave for my Nantucket summer home on June 25, where I hope to stay until shortly after Labor Day, my health allowing. There are no big fences on highway overpasses to prevent people from throwing rocks on cars below. I did not see violent programs on TV such as Dateline or people settling their issues with guns. I also took a trip to the south of France on TGV high-speed rail to see some families that had moved there. So, all in all, it was a wonderful two-week trip at age 92 that I will not be Dispatch Welcome to Dispatch, where you can find out what your fellow alums are up to.
