The Business Analytics Sequence In their first year, students are engaged in hands-on programming, and they learn basic concepts of data, with a focus on how data is structured to optimize business decisions and processes. Students then take a more in-depth business analytics course in their junior year that engages them in hands-on data analysis, techniques, and algorithms for creating effective visualizations to support business decision making. Critical-Skill Course Sequences All students experience three critical-skill course sequences that will start in the first year and be addressed even more deeply in the junior year – just as students are plunging into the depths of their major coursework.
