Concentrations are offered in: • Biochemistry • Evolution and behavior • Neuroscience • Cell and molecular biology Ph.D. students generally complete the program in 5–6 years, engaging in lab rotations, research, and teaching, and culminating in the dissertation defense. M.S. in Molecular Biology (distance only) A Master of Science degree is offered in molecular biology, conducted exclusively via online distance education. This 30-credit program is highly focused, research-oriented, and designed for parttime students who have an interest in the biotechnology industry.
