As a student in the department of mathematics, you may choose to pursue research in these areas: Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, Algebraic Topology, Analysis, Applied and Computational Mathematics, Differential Geometry, Mathematical Biology, Number Theory, Partial Differential Equations, Probability, and Statistics.
