AMessage from the Associate Dean R. Michael Burger, Ph.D. Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Lehigh University. Increasingly, a graduate degree is critical to skill development, career enhancement, and intellectual growth. Most importantly, graduate studies will allow you to begin to contribute to the important work of knowledge creation by applying your educational experiences to solving current scientific, social, and cultural problems. My most rewarding work has been mentoring Ph.D. students toward fulfillment of their goals in my Auditory Neuroscience research lab. As Associate Dean, I have also had the privilege of working with graduate students from across the College.
