66 | LEHIGH ALUMNI BULLETIN | CLASS NOTES out of it that he had a student (for like five of his classes) who knew that he was going to be a funeral director. He used to razz me all the time.” A Lehigh alumnus from the Class of 1993 is the president of a national professional association? Now that’s something to be proud of! ’94 Michael B. York, 575 West End Avenue #9A, New York, NY 10024; michael.york@nyplaw.com I am still trying to play catch-up with of the responses I got to my last class email in the middle of the pandemic! So, if your 6-year-old that I refer to in this column is now a Lehigh grad, well, you should have written me earlier! (508) 543-5036; jen@ keensense.com Rene Obregon reports: “A group of Lehigh families went to Maui, Hawaii, for a week this past summer. It was a great trip post-COVID with our better halves and kids. It was 17 of us in total: me, Brad Unger, Dave Rubinstein ’97 and Kerri (Leo) Rubinstein ’97 and Eddie Cinca ’95, plus spouses and nine kids. We did lots of family activities, and unsurprisingly during our snorkel boat trip, the Lehigh crew dominated the bar. Looking forward to another Lehigh get-together! “Also, I went to the Lehigh reunion, and it was fun to see the campus and catch up with Jim Hernjak, Susan (Fredericks) Clements, Colleen (Conway) MacClay, Melissa (Fitzgibbon) Newman, Brandi (Brezina) Unchester and Scott Estrin. I am hoping we can get more people to go for the next big one!” Mike Leonard reports: “I am out in Boulder with my wife, Tracy, and three kids (18, 16 and 12). Coaching lots of lacrosse, enjoying Colorado and working in health care technology. Rich Margolies, Jon Lewis, Mitch Zaninelli, Matt Pinto, Chuck Sorrentino, Scott Troxell ’98, Clint Briggs, Doug Mylowe ’98 and I have been pretty good keeping our annual ski trip on the calendar the past 20-plus years—only missed due to COVID.
