However, Lehigh policy may differ in significant respects from criminal law. Neither law enforcement’s determination whether to prosecute, nor the outcome of any criminal prosecution, is determinative of whether a University policy violation occurred. Procedures under University policy may be carried out prior to, simultaneously with, or following civil or criminal proceedings off campus. 3. Get support: A representative of the LUPD and/or the Title IX Coordinator and/or a University Advocate will guide you through the available options and support you in your decision. You will be provided with written information regarding resources and options. There are numerous resources available both on and off campus to provide you with support after an incident of SexBased Misconduct.
