However, Lehigh policy may differ in significant respects from criminal law. Neither law enforcement’s determination whether to prosecute, nor the outcome of any criminal prosecution, is determinative of whether a University policy violation occurred. Procedures under University policy may be carried out prior to, simultaneously with, or following civil or criminal proceedings off campus. 3. Get support: A representative of the LUPD and/or the Title IX Coordinator and/or a University Advocate will guide you through the available options and support you in your decision. You will be provided with written information regarding resources and options.
