Hope everyone is enjoying the last summer of their early 30s. Next year, we’ll officially be in our mid 30s—sheesh! Over in Wayne, Pa., my husband and I were happily surprised with a baby boy after having a 3-year-old girl and a 2-year-old girl. Luke Alexander was born in March, and we’re just ending three glorious months of Brian’s ’13 paternity leave. I guess it’s time for another baby and another vacation! ;) Callie (Burrows) Rapp resides in her hometown of St. Louis, Mo., works at the public relations agency Weber Shandwick and is preparing to go to business school this fall at Washington University. On top of that, she and her husband have two daughters, Scarlett (5) and Blakely (3), and welcomed their third child, Barrett, in March! Kyle (van Buitenen) Ungari is also a member of the “two girls and one boy club.” She and husband Michael welcomed their son, James Charles Ungari, on Feb. 10. They, along with Kyle’s two stepdaughters, Caitlin and Annabelle, moved into their new house in Old Greenwich, Conn., in March. Jackie (Niedbala) Reich and Will Reich welcomed their baby boy, Emerson Lee Reich, on Nov. 2, 2023. They live in Little Silver, N.J., just a few miles away from Sea Bright Beach. ’13 Nicholas Graber, (201) 602-6603 (C) graber.nicholas@gmail. com Lucy Zhang, (978) 4602394 (C); zhang.lucyw@alum. lehigh.edu Congratulations to Jamie (Lawson) Clabby and Brian Clabby, who welcomed baby girl Frances James Clabby on Jan. 9, 2024! We can’t wait to see her in some Mountain Hawk gear! After 10 years in public accounting, Jessica Mackey decided to try something new (finally!) and started a new job at Cross River Bank as head of financial reporting. Happy to report she is loving it! This has been a different year for Connor Marr. The past four years, he’s been using his theater and English degrees teaching drama at Palm Beach Day Academy down in Palm Beach, Fla., directing musicals and writing many of his own hilarious plays. However, a seizure in spring of 2023 hospitalized Connor, which resulted in a brain cancer diagnosis and subsequent neurosurgery and radiation. He’s currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Boston. Connor has had to take the year off from teaching to focus on his fight, and the good news is that the procedures and treatments have gone very well, as planned. Connor has spent most of 2024 resting, being a full-time uncle and going to concerts. He was also able to catch up with CJ McCollum at a Pelicans-Heat game! If you want to keep up with Connor’s story and would like to support Connor and his family, visit gofundme.com/f/connor-marr-surgery-fundraiser. Class of ’13, do you have a life update to share? We want to hear from you! ’14 Leah Paulson, leahpaulson22@ gmail.com Hi, everyone! Leah Paulson here. I’d like to start with another big thank you to Mike Ronan for co-writing these columns for the past couple of years! One of my close friends/ teammates Corey Johnson ’15 and I went to a Lehigh rowing event in Manayunk recently and met the current coaches and some fellow rowing alums! It was super cool to connect with some grads as recent as 2023 all the way to some of the team’s founding members. I also ran into one of my lovely former teammates Cara Baskin ’12 in Sedona, Ariz. Pro tip: If you see someone in Lehigh swag anywhere in the world, take a good look at everyone in the group because you just may know someone! I love sharing what our fellow ’14ers have been up to. My inbox is always open (leah paulson22@gmail.com), and I would love to hear from you! ’15 Kerry Mallett, kerryamallett@ gmail.com I hope everyone is having a great summer! Christina Bauer has enjoyed incredible international travel this year, including trips to Peru and Guatemala. She said her highlight in Peru was seeing Machu Picchu up close and to walk through the intricate ruins nestled high in the Andes mountains.
