Garaventi was a Delta Upsilon member, as well as a member of the Glee Club. He worked for Rohm & Haas for nearly four decades. As an alumnus he volunteered extensively with his class and as an LUAA Board of Directors member. He was honored with the Alumni Award in 2003 for his service. Robert B.
