Speaking of wonderful, it was fantastic to catch up with some fellow ’99ers at our 25th reunion! I spent a great evening with Ethan Biery, Steve Claves and Steve Rittler—and enjoyed seeing Amanda Fraser-Bizorik and meeting Tannashae Perrine and Britton Baine as well! I missed catching up with Colleen (Griggs) Marshall, Taryn (Filo) Gall and Joe Gnall—and maybe others—but hope they all had a great time! Ethan said he feels very fortunate to continue to live in the Lehigh Valley and frequently see the Lehigh football team play at Goodman Stadium, even if the last few seasons have been a bit rough to watch. He has enjoyed working the last 24 years at Lutron Electronics, and recently started a role there in product management. His oldest son, Evan, is starting to look at colleges in advance of his senior year (perhaps Lehigh??), and his daughter Clara will be starting high school. To his fellow Lehigh friends, he hopes to see you at a future event on campus! Steve Claves and his family are doing well, and when we spoke at reunion, he was about to start a new job. He was also kind to provide updates on Ed Gorzkowski, who was just named a fellow of the American Ceramic Society; Bryan McEnerney, who changed jobs a few years ago from JPL to NASA, and is a “for-real rocket scientist”; and John Shabaker, whose recent travels included the thrilling England EuroCup match in Germany. Thanks, Steve! And Ed, Bryan and John—please reach out to me with more details! I hope to hear from you soon, and I hope to see many more of you back at Lehigh in five years, so mark your calendars now for early June 2029! All the best! ’00 Corina Fisher, (732) 688-3671 (C); corina_fisher@yahoo.com Greetings, Class of 2000! I hope all of you and your families are healthy, happy and prospering. I look forward to hearing from you soon! ’01 Abby Dawes Columbo, abbywdawes@gmail.com Class of 2001, summer is in full swing, and I would love for you to share some of your adventures with us! Recently, my son and I jumped off the Jaws Bridge in Edgartown, Mass. It was scary and then it was over, and now we can’t stop talking about it. I feel like that is true of so many things in life. I recently heard from Derek Doeschner. “After graduation, I was fortunate enough to engage in several occupations; the most important of which became my career, a teacher. I was a NYC public school teacher for 15 years. I also lived and taught English in Japan for a few years. Additionally, I was a college adjunct professor for a semester. As much as I enjoyed the education career, I resigned in 2022. My family and I now work in social media; my wife and I created, developed, marketed, etc., our channel, A Life Less Scripted. This channel is both on Facebook and YouTube and has grown to over three million viewers. Check it out!” ’02 Laura (Schwamb) Carino, lcarino@att.net Greetings, Class of 2002 alumni!
