66 | LEHIGH ALUMNI BULLETIN | CLASS NOTES ness Czar of Park Slope; Fritos have only three ingredients, this is a health food! And Fritos pair well with rosé. Well, so does Special K. These are only two of the wonderful tips her clients get on a regular basis. And you get them here for free! Marcy Roth is the most successful real estate agent ever; she sold the Brady Bunch house! Also still looks like she is 23. I look like I have been drinking wine for 55 years. Oh my goodness, we are out of room! Well, thanks for reading, and please know this entire thing was fabricated, but we thought we all might need a laugh. Wait! The stuff about Marcy was not false; but everything else was. ’92 Melissa (Gitlin), Jacoby, mgjacoby@gmail.com; and Rachel (Beck) Diamond, rachelmbeck@hotmail.com Nothing beats a Lehigh run-in with classmates you haven’t seen in years. Last spring, as Rachel (Beck) Diamond ate dinner in Charlottesville, Va., with her son, she heard a very distinct voice, looked around, and spotted David Strassburger and his wife, Meredith Brozost Strassburger, two tables over. Possibly the entire restaurant heard the excited screams as this trio reunited after 30+ years! Dave and Meredith, who just celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary and live in Pittsburgh, were visiting their daughter, who graduated this past spring from UVA and will head to NYC for work. Their older son graduated from Bucknell in 2022 and lives in Philadelphia. David is a trial lawyer at Strassburger McKenna in Pittsburgh, and Meredith is the director of behavioral health at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio. April was a busy month of Lehigh run-ins for Rachel, who also caught up with Paul Witte. Paul lives in Basking Ridge, N.J., with his wife, Erin, and two teenage daughters, Julianne and Callie. He’s general counsel to Donjon Marine, whose operations include most recently the removal of the wreckage of Baltimore’s Key Bridge. Paul remains in touch with fellow ’92ers Scott Kornfeld, Darren Blumberg, Frank Vallario, Jim Novick and Tak Yawata. It was great to hear that Paul still plays music (oh, those Big Hair parties were the best at Lehigh!) in several bands, including Millie’s Closet—named after a room in Lehigh’s Pi Lambda Phi fraternity house. As this past college admissions season concluded, Barry Herman announced some big news: His third son would be attending Lehigh. Barry and wife Heather Johnston Herman ’89 already sent Ryan ’21 and Jacob ’23 to good old South Mountain, and now the baby of the family, Charlie, will study computer engineering starting this fall. These boys have lots of Lehigh stock beyond their parents—grandfather Ken Johnston ’66 and uncle Trey Johnston ’93 also attended. Barry and family live in Severna Park, Md., and he’s an attorney in the Baltimore office of Womble Bond Dickinson. Barry keeps in close touch with his Alpha Sig brothers including Steve Dunn ’93 (who lives in Seattle), Dan Wachinski (who lives in Phoenix), Jeff Grau (who lives in Raleigh with wife Amy (Reinstein) Grau), and Rex Huppke (who lives in Chicago). We’d love to hear more about what everyone is up to! ’93 Darren Saks, Dksaksinc@yahoo.com, 201-310-8460 Hello, Class of ’93. Hopefully everyone is having a fun summer. I didn’t get any updates, so please don’t forget to email me with news. I did see an old friend recently whom I haven’t seen in ages, Mitch Ross. We reminisced about freshman year in Stevens and our Lehigh escapades. He is doing well living in Oceanport with wife Chaz and teenage daughter Stella. On a personal note, our daughter, Madison, had a great first year at Lehigh and is looking forward to living up on the Hill next year! Hope to hear from others soon. ’94 Michael B. York, 575 West End Avenue #9A, New York, NY 10024; michael.york@nyplaw.com; (917) 575-9391 Every five years, I tell you all when our reunion will be and how much fun we will all have. And then I bail. This year I showed up, and we had a blast! A big thanks to Jill Triani and Dana Moyles Eberle for doing an amazing job organizing! While there were probably close to 100 of our classmates at the reunion, I had a great time with Chris Hobbs, Rob Freud, John Sini, Dan Carter, Meredith (Robb) Ruckh, Melissa (Muendel) Hartley, Hilary (Brown) Tabish, Jeff Beekman, Jeff Jenkins, Derick Hallahan, Noelle (Watson) Hallahan, Steve Hahn, Nick Losavio, Tracy (Costaldo) Gardner and Stefanie Longo Waller. It started at the Ho around 4 p.m. and ended at the Casino at some hour that we are all too old for. Rob Freud has worked at Dynamic Engineering for more than 10 years, and has recruited fellow ’94 alums Rod Ritchie in the South Jersey office and Brad Aller in the Newark office. Rob lives in Brielle, N.J., with his wife and three kids, Patrick (16), Declan (15) and Finley (13). Dan Carter and his wife, Cameron (Holtzman) Carter ’96, live in Atlanta. Dan recently sold his environmental engineering firm, Eco-Tech, where he had worked since 1996. They have two daughters, Ryan (18) and Lily (15). Ryan just started her freshman year at the University of Michigan this year. Meredith (Robb) Ruckh’s daughter, Emma, just graduated from Lafayette and is applying to veterinary school. Son Will just finished his first year at Quinnipiac, and son Merit is a junior in high school. Meredith is an Orangetheory instructor and just signed John Sini as a member! Nick Losavio and his wife, Joanne, took their kids, Nicky (8) and Ilana (10), on their annual summer holiday to visit their grandparents in London and then traveled to France, visiting Paris and Normandy. Ilana recently performed the national anthem at a New York Mets game. John Sini and Michelle (Frisch) Sini ’92 have lived in Darien, Conn., for more than 20 years and been very active volunteers in their community. John currently sits on the Board of Education, and Michelle is the director of football operations for Blue Wave Football. John has worked at Douglas C. Lane & Associates as a portfolio manager for two decades alongside several other Lehigh alums. Their three boys (Luke, Connor and Jake) will all be attending Clemson University in the fall. Stefanie Longo Waller works for a financial adviser in Ridgewood. She lives in Upper Saddle River, N.J., with husband Elliott Waller ’93, who works in finance at Levin Capital in NYC even though he is not 6’5” and has green eyes. Their oldest daughter, Ava, is a sophomore at UW-Madison, and daughter Cameron is a high school junior. She recently returned from her annual Lehigh girls’ trip to the Sagamore at Lake George with Tracy (Costaldo) Gardner, Natasha (Katzive) Kreizman, Lauren (Whitman) Ordower, Kristy Salinard Aichroth, Hillary Reuter, Kristen Agrati-McAnaney, Lynn (Smith) Guyton and Michelle Kudesh. They have been taking a trip to a different
