A few years ago, in fact, he called Melissa somewhat out of the blue to say he wanted to join her team in riding the annual Pan-Mass Challenge. A few months later, he was riding by her side. All of us ’93ers mentioned in the last update survived our heli-ski trip and are hoping for a round two next year in Silverton, Colo. Kristin (Heuer) Li sent me a note about a nice gathering with Ali Hill, Deb Dingee and Michelle May. They had a great road trip to visit Jessica Walbridge in Austin, Texas. I didn’t get too many details, which I’m sure was intentional because what happens in Austin … Lori (Schlauch) Trechter has a lot of wonderful children that she updated us on. Her family was in Washington, D.C., in May for her oldest daughter’s graduation from CUA. She graduated magna cum laude with a civil engineering degree and works in the D.C. area doing construction management on an apartment complex. She celebrated 28 years of marriage in August, and their oldest son got married on their anniversary in Pensacola. Their son is now training to be a CH-53 helicopter pilot in the Marine Corps. Their second oldest son, Carlos, is studying hospitality management at UNLV and did a lot of the planning for his brother’s wedding.
