CLASS NOTES | SPRING 2025 | 63 Jim ’84 and Robin (Cohen) ’84 Hart, hosted a Delta Chi reunion for ’80s classes. Attending were Mike Dicker, Eric Walsky, Carol (Adamcek) Ellis, and Peter Neville ’82 and Cindy (Benscoter) Neville. President Helble stopped by, and I was excited to introduce him to Peter, whose grandfather was former Lehigh President Harvey Neville. Clem Palevich and his son, Clem ’25, stopped by our tailgate. Later at the game, there was a Dravo B-2 reunion with Dave Thomson. Clem and Dave had not seen each other in over 40 years. Lehigh-Lafayette What a great game and season! Patriot League champions! I stopped by the Alpha Sig tailgate and visited with Eric Marks and his wife Barb (Riddell) Marks ’84, Larry Hunter, Joe Yammarino ’85, and Phil Koppenhofer ’85. Before the game, I ran into Chip Bayer and his wife Paula (Thoden) Bayer ’84. Interesting fact: Chip’s dad, Dan Bayer ’59, was attending his 83rd Lehigh-Lafayette game. He holds the record of attending the most Lehigh-Lafayette games. At the game, I met up with Sue (Bevan) Baggott and her dad, Bob Bevan ’60, and Liz (Batesole) Hainey. Liz mentioned that she traveled from Texas back to campus to share career tips and advice with chemical engineering students and members of the Society of Women Engineers. Liz, you are such a great role model for the students! Enjoy your spring and please send me your news. I was named senior vice president of the LUAA Board, so I will be attending many Lehigh events, including Reunion weekend on June 12-15, 2025. Hope to see you at an event! ’84 Thomas Keating, 2343 15th Ave. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713; thomaskeating@yahoo.com We are past thankfulness season, and I want to tell you that I am thankful for Lehigh in my life because it connects me with all of you fantastic 1984 alumni! This year’s Lehigh-Lafayette game was a stunner, 3814, with the league championship and gateway to playoffs for the team—and much deserved. From my tether at the Psi Upsilon alumni tailgate, I saw a tremendous crowd, but also the usual mix of ’84 friends, a trustee or two, and the stalwarts. A shout-out to Phil Gauffreau and Sherman “Bill” Bear, who once again manned grills and pumped out burgers, hot dogs and pierogies to the delight of Psi U alumni and undergraduates. Laura Gill stopped by on her way to keeping her Rivalry attendance record. Jim Hart and Bill Glaser stopped by on their way to visit the Delta Chi undergraduates who were also placed along the same row. Many of my Psi U brothers were celebrating with us: Peter Notaro, George Blandino, Jeff Weber ’85 along with Laura (Kramer) Weber, and Pam Gural-Bear. Happy news: Eric Koehler and Anita (Hahn) Koehler celebrated the marriage of their daughter, Dana, to Mr. Patrick Moran on October 5, 2024, in Goode, Va. They shared photographs of the beautiful wedding, set in the Virginia hills, to Facebook friends and family. I am not ashamed to say that the picture of father and daughter, Eric and Dana, got me right in the heart. Congratulations, Dana and Patrick! Along the same lines, my son, Alexander Keating ’15, married Linda Kung of Flushing, N.Y., in the Quaker manner on September 28, 2024. Aliki (Astreou) Keating and 6 7. 8. 9. 10. 11.
