‘Thank you’ is not enough to describe how appreciative I am of this scholarship. As a recipient, this scholarship has allowed me to connect with people who look just like me and see that I’m not alone in this. Not only that, but as a first-gen student that comes from a family where funding college isn’t plausible, this scholarship has relieved that stress from my shoulders.
